Property — Domain, range, sign

  • sinα\sin\alpha and cosα\cos\alpha are defined for every αR\alpha\in\mathbb{R}, with range [1;1][-1;1].
  • tanα\tan\alpha is defined for απ2+kπ\alpha\ne \tfrac{\pi}{2}+k\pi, kZk\in\mathbb{Z} (where cosα=0\cos\alpha = 0), and its range is the whole of R\mathbb{R}.
