Given the line R:3x+2y3=0R:3x+2y-3=0, the parabola L:y=x23+x3L:y=\dfrac{x^2}{3}+x-3, the parabola G:y=x24+4G:y=-\dfrac{x^2}{4}+4 and the point P(3;2)P(3;-2):

  • (a) find the intersection between LL and RR;
  • (b) find the distance between RR and PP;
  • (c) decide whether PP belongs to LL, to GG, or to neither.
