Solution

First the powers and the bracket, then multiplications and divisions, and finally additions and subtractions: $\begin{aligned} &= 25 - 3\cdot(8-5) + 3 \\ &= 25 - 3\cdot 3 + 3 \\ &= 25 - 9 + 3 = \boxed{19} \end{aligned}$
